MAJORVY ESSENTIALS
Cookies
Every cookie this site sets, what it is for, and how long it lasts. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Draft — not legally effective
Every highlighted slot below is a fact only the operator knows, or a decision only a Spanish consumer-law adviser can make. Until they are filled this page is excluded from search engines and must not be linked from a contract.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the service you asked for and are not subject to consent.
- mv_room — the room number from the card you scanned, so your order reaches the right door. Fourteen days, httpOnly.
- mv_locale — the language you chose. One year.
- sb-…-auth-token — keeps hotel and admin staff signed in. Set only after signing in.
- Cart contents are held in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leave your device until you place an order.
Measurement
mv_sid — a random identifier, set when you first open a hotel's shop, that lets us count how many scans of a given card turn into an order. Thirty days, httpOnly. It holds no name, no account and no cross-site identifier, and it is never shared.
ANALYTICS_CONSENT — whether this one requires consent is the open question on this page. It is first-party, it measures only our own placements, and it is not shared with anyone; that is the profile Spanish guidance treats most leniently. It is nonetheless measurement rather than a strict necessity.
What we do not do
No advertising cookies, no social network pixels, no cross-site tracking, no data sold to third parties. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment page, which is governed by Stripe's own policy.
Open questions for counsel
- mv_sid is the only cookie that might require a consent banner. If it does, the alternatives are a banner, or dropping per-placement attribution and losing the conversion numbers on the hotel dashboard.
